NDSTT.COM updated its official DSTT kernel - DSTT TTMenu V1.18 on Dec 15th, 2010. This official TTMenu kernel finally came to us after one year long. This DSTT V1.18 can be used for both DSTT and DSTTi cards.

What's updated for this newest official TT kernel ? NDSTT.com has not given any discription about it. And DSTT users may notice that unofficial DSTT YSMenu V6.42 was available on Dec 14th, 2010. R4Wood.com now just make a simple comparison between these two DSTT Kernel - DS Game ROMs compatibility.

DSTT Kernel Compatibility

We tested 11 latest DS Game ROMs by these two kernel - DSTT V1.18 and DSTT YSMenu V6.42. At the testing process, we also tried to run eNDryptS Advanced 1.2 for both kernel.

Note: "V1.18+1.2" refer to testing games after running eNDryptS Advanced 1.2 with Kernel DSTT V1.18, so does "YSV6.42+1.2". "V" - Work fine.

Conclusion

DSTT V1.18 and DSTT YSMenu V6.42 are of the same compatibility to these DS Game ROMs. Maybe retrogamefan will cooperate with NDSTT.COM next time. Let's wait for the more frequent DSTT Kernel update now.
